aTube Catcher's End User License Agreement (EULA)

A. ATUBE CATCHER EULA

Permission is granted free of charge to any "end user" obtaining a copy of this computer program and included files (called "This software," "The software," or "Software") to deal with the Software, including rights to use, copy, publish, and distribute copies, subject to conditions.

The Software and installer files must be distributed without modifications. Copyright and permission notices must appear in all copies. Users must not clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Software.

"THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS'... WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED... IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY."

THIS SOFTWARE IS DISTRIBUTED FREE AND CLEAN OF ANY HARMFUL / UNWANTED SOFTWARE.

THIS SOFTWARE DOES NOT COLLECT OR REQUEST ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Use is restricted to personal, private, and educational non-profit purposes. Redistributing downloaded content in other formats or media is forbidden, per each site's policies.

The software supports sites providing embed codes indicating user authorization. End users are legally responsible for proper use, respecting intellectual property rights, and complying with website terms of use. Users must access only authorized content using authorized computers and internet connections, per local laws.

aTube Catcher and its developers don't store, offer, host, share, or provide content. All multimedia is stored and served by external websites, whose owners are solely legally responsible. The developers maintain no relationships with these sites and can't control available content. Users accept each website's terms before use. Copyright complaints must address external sites directly.

aTube Catcher and developers:

  • ARE NOT RELATED AND DO NOT MAINTAIN ANY PARTNERSHIP OR COOPERATION WITH VIDEO / AUDIO / SOCIAL WEB SITES.
  • DO NOT OWN, OPERATE OR CONTROL SERVERS FOR VIDEO STREAMING, AUDIO STREAMING, VIDEO HOSTING NOR AUDIO HOSTING.
  • DO NOT COOPERATE FOR UPLOADING MULTIMEDIA CONTENT TO THIRD-PARTY SERVERS.

Users agree to keep authors, developers, owners, employees, and partners legally free from harm from software misuse.

aTube Catcher doesn't support circumventing security measures like encryption, DRM, or copy protection, including secure video protocols.

The software contains third-party translations, revised before inclusion but potentially containing phrases not representing author opinions.

The Software uses FFmpeg (copyrighted by Fabrice Bellard, licensed under GNU Lesser General Public License). See http://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/lgpl-2.1.html. If not included, users may download it and must agree to its license.

The software uses WinpCap library. Access EULA and Privacy policy at http://www.winpcap.org/misc/copyright.htm.

aTube Catcher doesn't collect personal or trackable user information.

Warning

Modifying the Software or components to alter normal functioning is strictly forbidden.

Modifying installation packages or embedding executable code without explicit written author permission is strictly forbidden.

The official website for downloading the latest version and updates is https://www.atube.me/.

Redistributing aTube Catcher must include a link to the official website for latest releases and security updates.

Using this software implies accepting this agreement between end user and developer. Misuse, abusive use, malicious use against others, or exploitation resulting in prejudice or damage to the author results in immediate license revocation and agreement termination.

The installer may offer other software installation ("the offer"):

Clicking "Next" allows running a software checker connecting to the internet to verify available offers without installing it. Read each setup page to accept or decline offer installation.

Please note: certain products may prompt for elevated admin privileges. Declining may result in installation without admin privileges but without full capabilities.

B. Uninstall Instructions

To fully uninstall aTube Catcher:

  1. Open Control Panel at Start Menu.
  2. Open "Programs and Features" applet.
  3. Select "aTube Catcher".
  4. Click "Uninstall or Change".
  5. Follow instructions to complete uninstall.
